Join Bike & Saddle for a short guided cycle tour of the Steenberg Vineyards, with a gourmet picnic up at the dam overlooking the magnificent Constantia Valley, Table Mountain and the deep blue of False Bay. The cycle can be booked as a morning or afternoon ride. Included in the experience is a gourmet picnic basket, a bottle of the finest Steenberg bubbly or wine (red or white), and a wine tasting at the cellar afterwards.

Guests of Steenberg Hotel can also enjoy wide selection of state-of-the-art bicycles at their disposal, available by prior reservation. These include an array of 24-speed white hybrid bicycles, 27-speed road bicycles, 27-speed mountain bicycles, and single speed bicycles. Guests may rent bicycles from between R30 and R50 per hour (with the shortest rental period being one hour), while extended rentals are also available per day, or per week. The rental service will be available seven days a week from 10am to 10am, with reservation required 24 hours in advance. Accessories, including cycling helmets and bicycle locks, are included in the rental package.
