Wine Tasting

With the Wine Tasting Bar, Tasting Lounge and Outdoor Terrace to choose from, visitors can enjoy their wine tasting experience the way they would like to. With spill-over pools and reflective water features set before a remarkable view of the Constantia valley, guests are able to relax and appreciate the natural beauty around them. There is little else better than reclining on the couches, indulging in a glass of Steenberg wine, seemingly without a care in the world. The attentive, knowledgeable and courteous staff are always on hand to ensure that patrons leave feeling a little bit spoilt.

Wine Tasting Bar
An oval bar for the express taster. Here you can have impromptu tastings requiring no pre-bookings, while either standing or sitting underneath a uniquely designed chandelier.

Wine Tasting Lounge
The lounge is a place to linger longer, with comfortable couches and a fireplace. Big glass doors lead onto the terrace, where one can soak in the summer sun and gaze over water features and gardens.

Executive Tasting Room
This venue on the first floor is set aside for exclusive tastings and accommodates bigger groups. The 270° view showcases Constantiaberg, Elephant’s Eye, and Steenbergs sweeping vineyards, with a clear view of the waves breaking at Muizenberg on a beautiful day.
