Steenberg Wine Estate offers guests a selection of wine tasting experiences, with a Wine Tasting Bar, Tasting Lounge and Outdoor Terrace to choose from. With spill-over pools and reflective water features set before some of the most remarkable scenery in Cape Town, guests are able to relax and appreciate the natural beauty around them. What could be better than reclining on the couches and sipping a glass of Steenberg wine, without a care in the world?

Wine Tasting Bar

An oval bar for the express taster. Here you can have impromptu tastings requiring no pre-bookings, while either standing or sitting underneath a uniquely designed chandelier.

Wine Tasting Lounge

The lounge is a place to linger longer, with comfortable couches and a fireplace that echo the elegant décor theme that runs through our luxury hotel. Big glass doors lead onto the terrace, where one can soak in the summer sun and gaze over water features and gardens.

Executive Tasting Room

This venue on the first floor is set aside for exclusive tastings and accommodates bigger groups. The 270° view showcases Constantiaberg, Elephant’s Eye, and Steenberg’s sweeping vineyards, with a clear view of the waves breaking at Muizenberg on a beautiful day.
